The Muskegon Community College mens basketball team split its two games over the weekend.
The Jayhawks came out victorious on Saturday with an 88-58 win over Alpena Community College.
Marquise Hatter led MCC with 21 points while Rashard Donely added 16 points and Tyiwan Jones scored 11. A.J. Whitaker had seven rebounds.
On Friday, MCC lost 86-81 in a tight contest against St. Clair Community College.
The Jayhawks held a five-point lead with 4 minutes remaining, but were hurt by defensive errors and untimely turnovers.
Jones showed off his offensive skills for MCC with 29 points and nine rebounds. Donely tallied 17 points and Hatter scored 15 points and dished out six assists.
