Three games was all Muskegon Catholic Central needed in its Class D district volleyball sweep of Walkerville West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science.

The win places the Crusaders in the district finals against Fruitport Calvary Christian on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

MCC’s Deanna DeTorres pestered Walkerville throughout the match with seven aces and 17 service points.

Annika Tyler also served well for MCC with four aces, 11 service points and five kills. Lauren Prince added in on the offense with three aces and eight service points.

Zhane Harris had eight kills to lead MCC.
