Bear Lake runs up 40-point win over Pentwater girls

PENTWATER – Bear Lake rolled into Pentwater Friday night and darn near ran the host Falcons out of their own building, piling up three 20-points-or-more quarters en route to the 71-33 victory in West Michigan D League girls basketball action.

The Lakers led 20-5 after one, and 40-14 at the half.

After being outscored 21-8 in the third quarter, the host Falcons won the fourth 11-10.

Taylor Wilkinson led Pentwater with 13 points, while Emileigh Ferguson rang up 23 points for the Lakers, with teammate Hannah Harrington adding 20 points in the win.
