PENTWATER – It was all Muskegon Catholic right from the start Wednesday night versus host Pentwater, as the Crusaders ran out to a 19-10 start over the Falcons en route to the 58-30 non-league victory.

Catholic (2-0), prepping for Friday’s league opener versus Tri-unity, outscored Pentwater (0-3) 31-14 in the second half to seal the win.

MCC senior Adam Callow led all scorers with 16 points, while also dishing out five assists, and senior Ian Tyler totaled 13 points and 10 boards. Junior Lamar Jordan had seven points and four steals, and sophomore Christian Martinez added six points in the win.

Senior forward Chance Helms paced Pentwater, while teammate Nick Anscombe finished with 11 rebounds for the Falcons.
