Fruitport wrestlers down Belding, fall short against Rockford

The Fruitport wrestling team split a pair of team dual matches Wednesday against Bending and Rockford.

The Trojans defeated Belding 43-33 but lost to Rockford 37-28.

Winning two matches on the night for Fruitport were Alex Foster (two pins at 135), Collin Butler  (152 and 160), Austin Fialek (160 and 171) and Kyle Sherman (285).

Single match winners for the Trojans were Cameron Butler (103), Andrew Bunda (119), Dalton Pope (130), Levi Six (140), Tommy Martinez (140), and Antonio Strong (152).
