Grand Haven had its hands full against Kent City at the Davenport University Holiday tournament on Friday. The Bucs came out on top with a 42-39 win and extended their winning streak to 56 games.

A slow, eight-point first quarter didn’t stop the Bucs from taking a 21-16 halftime lead.

Taylor Craymer led all scorers with 18 points and had four steals. Amanda Merz added eight points, five assists and five rebounds and Mallory Beswick had seven points and six rebounds.

Kendal Carlson paced Kent City with 16 points and Kaitlyn Geers added 11 points. McKenna Carlson chipped in six points.
