Nick Brown and Tyler Manlick didn’t let a slow second quarter stop their Grant Tigers from winning 61-54 over Morley-Stanwood in boys basketball on Wednesday.
Brown finished with 22 points while Manlick followed with 18 points in the Grant win.
The Tigers jumped out early, and took a 22-13 first quarter lead, but stumbled in the second to take a 28-26 lead into halftime.
Grant fought off Morley-Stanwood who cut the Tigers’ lead to just one point at the end of the third.
Dakota Scholten also chipped in 10 points for Grant.
