MUSKEGON – After horrible third quarter and a furious comeback in the fourth proved too little for host Reeths-Puffer Tuesday night, as the Rockets fell to OK Crossover foe Greenville 40-37.

The Yellowjackets out rebounded the Rockets on the offensive end, creating second-and third-shot opportunities for the visitors. Greenville’s inside/outside game of Leah Somerville proved to be a little too much down the stretch for the Rockets.

Agressive full court defense kept the Rockets in the game but the Jackets pushed the lead to five with a minute and a half left in the game and the Rockets could not recover.

Somerville finished with a team-high 16 points for the Yellowjackets, with teammate Nikota Howe adding seven points in the win.

Reeths-Puffer’s Elysia Mattos led all scorers with 17 points, with teammate Kalisa Williams adding eight points, and Camaryia Williams pulling down a game-high 13 boards in the loss.
