HESPERIA – The Holton girls basketball team beat Hesperia Thursday night, rolling to the 49-32 victory in Central States Activities Conference action.
Holton outscored Hesperia in every quarter and finished with three scorers in double figures.
Jacki Stone led Holton with 18 points, eight assists, and six rebounds. Rachel Younts led the Red Devils on the boards with 10 rebounds.
The Panthers suffered offensively because of turnovers, with Holton providing defensive pressure throughout the game to score several easy baskets.
Holton improved their record to 2-3 overall and 2-2 in CSAA. Hesperia’s record fell to 1-4.
