Jasmyn Walker tallied a career high 27 points as the Mona Shores Sailors downed Coopersville 45-36 in girls basketball on Friday.

The Sailors trailed 19-17 at half but Walker’s 71 percent shooting from the floor was too much for Coopersville.

Mona Shores also relied on the play of Jordan Walker, who finished with nine points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. Jena’a Matthews added seven points, all in the second half.

Sammie McCarthy kept Coopersville in the game from behind the arc. McCarthy finished with 20 points and had six 3-pointers.
