The Newaygo boys basketball team used a strong second half to down Chippewa Hills 56-44 Friday in a Central State Activities Association matchup.

The game was tied 27-27 at halftime, but Newaygo took control by outscoring Chippewa Hills 15-10 in the third quarter and 14-7 in the fourth.

Heath Harrington had 12 points and five assists for Newaygo.  Kyle Wight added 11 points and six steals and Dakota Queen had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Lions.
