WALKERVILLE – Host Walkerville suffered its third loss of the season Thursday night with a 50-34 loss to West Michigan D League rival Onekama.

The Wildcat offense never got going, which the host’s defense failed to compensate for, and Walkerville trailed 38-22 at the break.

The Wildcats’ play improved in the second half, outscoreing the Portegers in the second half, but it was too little, too late.

Walkerville was led by Sam Sweet with nine points, and Daniel Brown, Jesse Gorenflo, and Darren Flannery all added six points in the loss.

Walkerville’s record sits at 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the league.
