The West Michigan Lake Hawks earned the first win of the season in sweet fashion on Sunday. The Lake Hawks crushed Grand Prairie Cowboys 152-88.

The Lake Hawks sank 11 3-pointers and shot 57 percent from the floor in the win.

Leading 25-20 after the first quarter, West Michigan went on a 47-point second quarter tirade en route to a 72-36 halftime lead. The Lake Hawks would put up 80 second half points as six players scored in double figures.

Anthony Crump led West Michigan with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Ralph Monday tallied 23 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Bernard Web scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Anthony Thompson led under the basket for the Lake Hawks with 21 points and 16 rebounds. Terrance Billups scored 18 points and Will Wright added 15 points.

Damon Pope erupted for 20 fourth-quarter points and finished with 38 total to lead Grand Prairie.
