The Ludington girls basketball team defeated Orchard View with a strong second half performance 48-36 on Friday night in a Lakes 8 conference showdown.
The game remained close in the first half, which ended in a 14-14 tie. The Orioles had a 29-25 lead after the third quarter.
Brandi Thomas led the Orioles (6-4) with 15 points and six rebounds, while Kristen Reidenbach added 10 points and nine rebounds in the win.
The loss dropped Orchard View’s season record to 5-3.
Jayshonna Blackshire led the Cardinals with 14 points, while Daejia Hill had seven points.
