Mason County Central rolls past Hart in girls basketball

Maidson Geers compiled 24 points to lead Mason County Central to a 53-23 win over Hart in girls basketball on Thursday. Geers also had eights rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Spartans.

MCC jumped out to a 15-6 first quarter lead and held the Pirates to single digit scoring in the next three quarters.

Kylie Mount scored 10 points and had seven rebounds and three steals for MCC. Dria Striker led in rebounds with 11 and added eight points. Payton Bladzik chipped in six points, three assists and two steals.

Baylee Draper led hart with 10 points and Hannah Brown scored four points.
