Matt Rohen’s 17 points help Whitehall outlast North Muskegon 38-32

The Whitehall boys basketball team grabbed an 11-4 lead after one quarter, then withstood a late North Muskegon comeback to secure a 38-32 victory Thursday in West Michigan Conference basketball action.

Matt Rohen turned in a game-high 17 points along with three assists for the Vikings. Matt Russell added 12 points and 10 rebounds while Patrick Johnson grabbed nine boards for Whitehall (5-2).

Reese McCamant had 10 points, including three triples, for the Norse (2-6). Ben Gautraud had nine rebounds.
