The Shelby Tiger girls basketball team saved its best for last in each half Thursday night versus West Michigan Conference foe North Muskegon, outscoring the Norse 35-19 in the second and fourth quarters combined to nab the 56-42 victory.

Both teams had 21 points apiece in the other two quarters to provide the final result.

The Tigers got 20 points, seven rebounds (four on the offensive end), four assists, two blocks and two steals from senior forward Tristen Moore, with senior forward McKenna Inglis notching 10 points, eight rebounds (five offensive) and two steals, and sophomore guard Hannah Roberts added nine points in the victory.
