Stanton Central Montcalm delivered a tough CSAA boys basketball loss to Holton on Friday. The Hornets sank a 3-pointer with just second remaining to win 48-47 over the Red Devils.

Holton raced out to an 18-8 first quarter lead and led 36-28 at the start of the fourth. Stanton Central Montcalm responded with 20 points in the final eight minutes to complete the come back.

The Red Devils were led by Jacob Bowden with 15 points and Clay Mullins with 14 points. Corey Sokolowski scored eight points and Jacob Russell added six points.

Lance Ledford scored 20 points for the Hornets.
