A strong defensive game led to a 62-25 victory on Friday night for the Kent City girls basketball team over Wyoming Kelloggsville in an OK Silver Conference game.

The Eagles jumped out to a 14-2 lead after the first quarter and led 45-14 after three quarters.

Bailey Freeman led the Eagles with 20 points.  Kendal and McKenna Carlson each added 10 points in the victory.

Wyoming Kelloggsville were led by Kayla Shannon and Larissa Shumbert added six points apiece.

Kent City remains in second place in the OK Conference (Silver Division) behind Grandville Calvin Christian.
