Savanna Cressman drained back to back 3-pointers to bring Holton to within three points with a minute to play against Remus Chippewa Hills on Thursday. But the Red Devils weren’t able to get any closer as they fell 59-51 in CSAA girls basketball.

“We (Holton) trailed the entire game by 10-15 points, until we made a run with about three minutes remaining,” said Holton coach Jayson Robins. “We could get no closer and when we had to foul they closed the game out by making their free throws.”

Holton was led by Rachel Yonts with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jacki Stone put up 10 points and had five assists and Katie Wildfong had 10 points and five steals for Holton.
