A strong first half and defense the rest of the way gave Ludington the 71-40 victory over Orchard View in a Lakes 8 Conference boys hoops action.
The Orioles outscored the Cardinals 33-13 in the first half and led after the third quarter 52-30.
Matthew Ritter led the Orioles with 18 points. Ryan Bowen added 10 points, while Noah Laman and Chase Rohrer each had nine points.
The Cardinals were led in the losing effort by Brandon Edwards, with 18 points and Makari Taylor who added 11 points.
