Ludington used a balanced attack to top Spring Lake for a Lake 8 girls basketball win. Eleven players scored for the Orioles in the victory.

The Orioles built a 30-23 halftime lead and held the Lakers to just eight third quarter points.

“Spring Lake is a solid team and we did a much better job of controlling their penetration tonight than we did last week,” said Ludington coach Thad Shank. “We didn’t out rebound them tonight but we were competitive on the glass.”

Kalli Wahr led Ludington with 15 points, Kristen Reidenbach added nine points and Ali Plamondon scored eight points.

Spring Lake’s Reko Johnson scored 13 points and had four steals while Kelsee Zuidema pulled down 16 rebounds and scored nine points.
