Madison Geers remained dominate on Friday night along with the Mason County Central girls basketball team as they defeated Montague 74-49 in a West Michigan Conference showdown.

The Spartans led 42-18 at halftime and 59-29 after three quarters.

Geers led the Spartans with 21 points and 12 rebounds.  Kylie Mount had 16 points and seven rebounds, while Payton Bladzik added 13 points, five steals, and four assists.

The Wildcats were led by Elyse Taylor who had 12 points.  Kenadee Shugars added nine points, while Hailey Cockerill had eight points in the loss.

Mason County Central is currently in second place in the West Michigan Conference just behind Oakridge in the standings.
