Montague sinks 12 3-pointers in win over Ravenna in WMC boys basketball

The hot handed Montague rolled past Ravenna, 84-51 in a WMC boys basketball matchup on Monday. The Wildcats drained 12 3-pointers as a team.

Jacob Buchberger and Hamann Merritt led Montague from behind the arc. The sophomore guard Bucherger sank four 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 23 points. Merritt drained four threes as well to finish with 18 points.

Montague used a 51-point first half to bury the Bulldogs. The Wildcats led 25-16 after the first quarter and 51-31 at half.

Luke VanBoxel scored 14 points and had eight assists and four steals for the Wildcats. Chase Lohman scored nine points and had five assists while Mike Meekhof added eight points. Buchberger also had five rebounds, three assists and three steals.
