The Muskegon Heights Academy girls basketball season came to close with a 56-34 loss to Holland Black River in the Class C districts at Fennville on Monday.
Danasia Day led the Tigers with 14 points in the loss. Jasmine Burt scored six points and Diamond Franklin put in five.
The Tigers trailed 12-8 after the first quarter and dug themselves in a 31-11 deficit by halftime.
Avery Ingrassia led Holland with 15 points.
