Newaygo fell in the Class B district semifinals on Wednesday night to Tri-County 53-42 in a game played at Grant High School.
The Lions led 9-6 after one quarter, but were outscored 47-33 over the final three quarters.
Shelby Boyd led Newaygo with 14 points and Riley Knight added 10.
Tri-County will play Sparta in Friday night’s district title game at Grant.
