A 22-10 second half allowed the Reed City girls basketball team to escape with a 39-21 victory over Newaygo Monday in a Central State Activities Association contest.
Newaygo only trailed by six at halftime, but doomed itself by only scoring 10 points in the second half.
Reed City’s Mackenzie Switzer led all scorers with 10 points. Riley Knight paced Newaygo with six points.
