Mason County Central advances in the Class B district at Manistee with a win over host Chippewas

Mason County Central reached the boys Class B district semifinals at Manistee with a 51-33 win over the host Chippewas on Monday night.

Mason County Central raced to a 10-1 lead after one quarter and never looked back.

MCC built a 28-11 halftime lead and led 42-26 after three quarters.

Josh Ritzema and Johnny Shafer led MCC with 10 points apiece.

Mason County Central will face Benzie Central at 6 p.m. on Wednesady in the distirct semifinlas at Manistee High School.
