Montague advanced to the Class C district finals with a an easy rout of White Cloud, 67-22 on Wednesday.
The Wildcats used their outside threat to open up the inside and rolled past the Indians. Montague led 21-9 after the first quarter and 43-13 at halftime.
Chayce Lohman led Montague with 18 points and four assists. Jacob Buchberger heated up from behind the arch and sank four 3-pointers on the night to finish with 16 points.
As a team, Montague drained eight 3’s and shot 44.4 percent from behind the arc. they shot 54.3 percent from the floor on the game.
Luke VanBoxel put in an all around game with 13 points, seven assists and eight steals. Mike Meekhof scored eight points and led with seven rebounds, three blocks and two assists.
The Wildcats move on to the district finals where they will face Shelby on Friday at 7 p.m.
