A big fourth quarter led the Montague boys basketball team to a Class C district boys basketball win over Holton on Monday night.

The Wildcats went into the locker room at halftime trailing the Red Devils 24-16.  

The Wildcats would cut into the deficit in the third quarter as they trailed 37-31 after three quarters before having a monster fourth quarter to pull off the victory.

Montague outscored the Red Devils 28-13 in the fourth quarter.

Luke VanBoxel led the Wildcats with 31 points.  Merritt Hamann added 10 points, while Jacob Buchberger had six points.

The Red Devils were led by Brad Epplett with 15 points and Corey Sokolowski with 13.  Clay Mullins added 10 points in a losing effort.

Montague will play White Cloud on Wednesday night in the district semifinals.
