Spring Lake advances past Orchard View, eyes Coopersville in Class B district final

Spring Lake slowly warmed up against Orchard View in its 50-30 Class B district semifinal win on Wednesday.

The Lakers led 9-2 after the first quarter and then held OV scoreless in the second quarter to hold a 21-2 halftime lead.

Nick Goeglein and Zach Montgomery led a balanced Spring Lake attach as each scored 10 points. Mark Williamson put in nine points and Kyle Zietlow added eight.

Orchard View was led by STeven Reese with 10 points while William Burrell put in eight points and Brandon Edwards scored six.
