The Mona Shores baseball team grabbed a pair of wins in the O-K Black Conference standings with a doubleheader sweep of Zeeland East Tuesday, 7-2 and 14-8.

Noah Dykstra was the hero for the Sailors in the opener, pitching seven innings while scattering eight hits for the win. He also had three hits, including a fifth inning double that knocked in the go-ahead run.

The Sailors nailed down the victory four-run sixth inning.

In the nightcap, the Sailors trailed 7-6 in the fifth inning when they exploded for seven runs to put the game out of reach. Julian Loera had an RBI single, Dykstra stroked a two-run double and Tyler Trovinger added a three-run homer for the Sailors in the pivotal fifth inning.

The two teams combined for 37 hits in the second game.

North Muskegon 16-22, Hart 1-0: The Norse swept a West Michigan Conference doubleheader from Hart, pounding out 32 hits in the two games. Stephen Pallante was 5-for-8 with six runs and five RBI. Brody Scott and Riley Draper each had four hits while Conner Gannon, Chris Hillman, Ryan Compeau and Ben Gautraud all added three hits. Gautraud had a solo home run and a triple while Scott had four RBI. Reese McCamant and Draper each picked up a win on the mound for the Norse. For Hart (0-10, 0-6), Brandon Amstutz had a double in the opener while Connor Boundy had a single and a double in the nightcap.

Ravenna 4-4, Montague 2-10: The Bulldogs took an early 4-0 lead with runs in the first and third innings, then held on for the win. Jake Sied struck out nine and had eight walks for Ravenna in the opener.  Montague had a pair of hits from Cody Gjertsen and Ben Rupert. In the nightcap, the Wildcats jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the second inning and cruised to victory.  Chayce Lohman had three hits including a triple, and Jacob Buchberger had two doubles and an RBI. Isaac Atkins added a double and a single and Cameron Brayman hit a triple for Montague. Buchberger got  the win on the hill with six strikeouts.
