The Holton softball team improved to 4-0 in the Central States Activities Association race, and to 7-1 overall, with at two-game Friday afternoon sweep of Lakeview 12-0 and 14-3.

In the opener, Rachel Younts rang up nine strikeouts while allowing no runs in the double-digit victory.

Teammate Katie Wildfont went 3-for-3 at the plate, and notching four stolen bases, with Jacki Stone contributing three hits and three runs, and Emily Larabee and Dominique Waltz combining for four hits.

Younts throw a two hitter in the nightcap, striking out eight without allowing an earned run, and Ashley Friend drove in four runs on a double and a triple.

Kaylee Slowik added three hits and three RBIs for the Red Devils.
