Oakridge rolled over Shelby with a 5-0 win in girls soccer Friday.

The Eagles balanced attack led to goals from four different players.

Shelbe Wilde put the Eagles up 1-0 nine minutes into the contest on a penalty kick after a Tiger hand ball. Brandy Weaver followed with another PK off another hand ball call just a minute later.

Wilde would strike again eight minutes into the second half off a Weaver pass.

The Eagles added late goals from Morgan Larabee and McKenzie Davis. Beka Shepherd assisted on the final goal from Davis off a corner kick play.

“It was a good game for our girls after what had been a frustrating stretch of games,” said Oakridge coach Jeffrey Lohman. “We were able to use our depth and we have found a good fit for our girls on the field.”

Oakridge outshot Shelby 9-1.
