The Grant softball team improved its record to 6-2 in the Lakes 8 Conference with a 19-4 whipping of Ludington on Friday.
The Tigers, 11-11 overall, were impressive at the plate and in the field, racking up 13 hits with only one error.
Grant’s Sara Sease led the offensive attack with two hits and five RBIs. Dayna Wood added two hits and three RBIs, Laura Saxton had two hits and two RBIs while Preslee Dexter had two hits and three stolen bases and scored four runs.
Pitcher Emily Gabrielse got the win.
