Grand Haven hires Traverse City native Scott Robertson as new Athletic Director

GRAND HAVEN — The Grand Haven Area Public Schools have hired William “Scott” Robertson, of Traverse City as its new high school athletic director.

Robertson served as athletic director at East Grand Rapids High School for five years before moving to Traverse City almost three years ago. He served as the director of the Learning Enrichment and Athletic Programs for the district during his stay there.

Robertson replaces the late Robin Bye in the position. Bye died April 12 after a long bout with cancer. He had worked for the district for 34 years before winding up his career as athletic director.
