MUSKEGON — Muskegon Community College started its three days of high school all-star games.

After hosting the all-star volleyball game on Tuesday, MCC will host its 32nd Annual West Michigan All-Star Basketball Classic games Wednesday and a softball all-star game Thursday.

The volleyball and basketball games will be played in the college’s Bartels-Rode Gymnasium.

Area players have been divided into Blue and Gold teams for the volleyball games with schools represented ranging from Grand Haven and Spring Lake on the south to Whitehall and Reed City on the north.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children for the volleyball games.

The basketball classic, originally organized by retired MCC athletic director J. Paul King, will have the girls’ game at 6 p.m. and the boys’ game at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The boys’ game annually features some of the best players in West Michigan.

Rosters have not been announced for either game, yet.

Admission for the basketball games is $5 for adults and $3 for children.

The all-star softball game will be played at 6 p.m. Thursdayon MCC’s softball diamond. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children or students with high school ID or $10 per family.
