The Muskegon Lumberjacks will be heading south for one of their preseason hockey games this coming fall.

The Lumberjacks have reached an agreement with Edge Ice Arena LLC in Holland to host a neutral site game on Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. Muskegon will take on the expansion Bloomington Thunder.

“We are elated to be bringing the USHL brand to the great city of Holland as we look to continue to further communicate and educate the importance of our league within the local community,” said Lumberjacks General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations John Vanbiesbrouck. “The Muskegon Lumberjacks would like to thank Kory Karlander and the rest of Edge Ice Arena LLC’s staff for being gracious to offer their facility and services in hosting this event, and the Bloomington Thunder organization for coming aboard and being a part of what is expected to be a great night for the Holland community and USHL as a whole.”

Doors for the game open at 5:30 pm with free parking available.  Following the game, there will be a postgame autograph session with select Lumberjacks players.

Limited general admission tickets are available for only $5 before and $6 the day of the game and can be purchased at Edge Ice Arena Box Office.  In addition, a select number of tickets have been made available at the L.C. Walker Arena Box Office, and fans can stop by or call (231) 724-5225 to purchase their tickets.
