Lincoln Golf Club and the Greater Muskegon Golf Association have their eyes on July 25 when the 2014 Henderson Match Play Championship kicks off.

Defending champion Ryan Mouw returns to the course with the automatic No. 1 seed in the Championship Division.

The three day tournament, which is the only match-play event in Muskegon County, is open for all ages. Day 1 will be a qualifying round and the event will be flighted after the results are in. All golfers in the top 31 will make the Championship Flight. Each golfer will be place in flights and seeded based on qualifying scores.

There will be four divisions for competitors with the Championship Division open to all men ages 18-49. The Senior Division is open to all men ages 50-69.

The Junior Division is open to all boys and girls ages 17 and under. Each will host two flights, ages 15-17 and 14 and under. Seedings for match play will be determined prior to the event.

The newly added Super Senior Division is open to all men ages 70 and up. The division will include eight participants per flight and golfers do not have to qualify.

The entry fee is $80 for non-member, $50 for Lincoln members and $25 for juniors. A weekend cart fee is $20 which includes all three days.
