The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks women’s volleyball team took down conference opponent Jackson Community College by scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-21.

This win brings the #13 ranked Jayhawks to a 2-0 conference record, and an overall record of 7-5.

Brandie Jones lead the team in kills with 19 and added 10 digs. Meghan Birr had 38 assists with 2 aces, while Morgan Kelley added 2 aces of her own. She also has 7 kills, and 4 blocks. Autumn Winger had 4 blocks as well and 5 kills. Lindsey Kotecki led the team with 16 digs.

Over the past 4 seasons, the Jayhawks have posted an outstanding 28-1 record at home.

On Thursday, MCC will go up against conference rival Grand Rapids Community College (2-0 in conference).
