The Muskegon Big Reds had plenty of close football games the first four weeks of the season.

But not Friday night as Muskegon shut out Grand Rapids Union 63-0  at Hackley Stadium.

Quarterback Shawn Pfenning went 6-for-8 passing for 155 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for  14 yards and two touchdowns.

The Big Reds’ offense totaled 322 total yards to Grand Rapids Union’s 56 yards.

Caleb Washington carried the ball four times for 52 yards and one touchdown, while Jared Pittman had three carries for 56 yards and one score.
