Spring Lake 4, Fruitport 1: The Spring Lake boys soccer team scored four second half goals to defeat Fruitport 4-1 on Tuesday night.
“The Lakers came out ready to play and put us on our heels most of the game,” said Trojans coach Greg Kobylak. “They took us out of our game regarding what we wanted to do offensively.”
The Trojans jumped out to a 1-0 lead on a goal from Bryant Rebone which was assisted by Kyle Winger.
Chase Palmer tied the game early in the second half. Ten minutes later, the Lakers took the lead for good on a goal from Lucas Riberio which was assisted by Kyle Zietlow.
Joshua Stiffler and Keegan George close dout the scoring for the Lakers with late second half goals.
