Fremont relied on seven rushing touchdowns and earned its third win of the season with a 48-12 rout of Hesperia Friday night.

Walker Christoffersen had a monster game on the ground for the Packers, running for 218 yards and four touchdowns. Blake Locke added 88 yards and three scores.

Fremont quarterback Christian Wade completed seven passes for 98 yards.

For Hesperia, Brandon Goins led the way with 100 yards rushing and both of the Panthers’ touchdowns on the evening.

Jonah Wungnema recorded 13 tackles for the Hesperia defense and Adrian Castillo tallied nine.

Fremont improves to 3-5 on the season and Hesperia drops to 1-7. The Packers will finish the season with non-conference foe Montague and the Panthers will meet North Muskegon.
