Muskegon Big Red fans will have to travel a few miles to see their favorite football team in regionals this weekend.
The Big Reds will meet Petoskey Saturday at 1 p.m. in a Division 3 contest at Holton High School.
Mona Shores will host a Division 2 regional Friday at 7 p.m. against Battle Creek Lakeview.
Muskegon Catholic will host Mendon Saturday at 1 p.m. while Whitehall will play Grand Rapids South Christian Friday at 7 p.m. at Byron Center High School.

Division 2
Battle Creek Lakeview (9-1) at Mona Shores (10-1), Friday 7 p.m.
Division 3
Petoskey (9-2) vs. Muskegon (10-1), Saturday 1 p.m. at Holton High School.
Division 4
Whitehall (9-2) vs. Grand Rapids South Christian (9-2), Friday 7 p.m. at Byron Center High School.
Division 8
Mendon (10-1) at Muskegon Catholic (11-0), Saturday 1 p.m.
Why does Muskegon play at Holton?
Something to do with the distance between the two schools. When their too far apart, they play at a neutral site. Both teams have to travel. The reason it's in Holton is probably because Muskegon has a better record or is higher ranked.
What's a extra 20 miles bunch of girls
Conditions at Hackley Field are not the greatest. With the snow and cold coming later this week and the not so good field conditions both teams decided to move it. Safety for the kids first.
