CSAA girls hoops 12/12: Holton downs Lakeview, Kent City bombs Hesperia

Rachel Younts scored 17 points to lead the Holton girls basketball team to a 55-50 Central State Activities Conference win over Lakeview Friday.

Jacki Stone added eight rebounds and seven assists in the win.

Kent City 64, Hesperia 18 – Kent City’s Kendal Carlson led the way with 14 points in a game that was 24-3 after the first quarter. McKenna Carlson added ten points with Kaitlyn Geers scoring nine. Mariah Stitt had 10 points for Hesperia.

Big Rapids 45, Newaygo 29 – Kailey Hunt led the victorious Cardinals with 25 points. Madi Giese paced Newaygo with 13 points.
