The Oakridge girls basketball team fought off a pesky Hart squad and came away with a 42-30 win on the road on Thursday.

The Eagles led by just a pair of points, 18-16,  at halftime and the game was tied midway throughh the third quarter. But Oakridge went on a 6-0 run to finish up the quarter with a 30-22 lead.

Hart fought back to within four points in the fourth quarter but couldn’t get any closer.

Hannah Reinhold led Oakridge with 13 points and Emily Jacoutot put in 10 points. Brandy Weaver and Hannah Jones score seven points apiece and McKenzie Davis had seven rebounds. Megan Larabee had four assists for the Eagles.

Yasmin Colon led Hart with 11 points and nine rebounds and Madison Hegedus had eight points and six rebounds. Anna Hertzler pulled down seven rebounds.

Montague 61, Ravenna 33 – Montague took a 16-13 first quarter edge and built it into a 35-22 hafltime lead. Ten players scored for Montague, led by Emma Flagstead with 12 points and Abby Christmas with 10 points. Chase Jancek had seven points and 10 steals and Katie Webster had nine rebounds. Ravenna’s Erica Adams scored 12 points and Madison Broton had eight.

Mason County Central 37, North Muskegon 29Rylee Tyndall drained three 3-pointers in the third quarter to help MCC pull away. Tyndall finished with 12 points, all on 3-pointers. Raven Fairfield led North Muskegon with 14 points and six rebounds while Maggie Ackley pulled down eight rebounds.
