The Reeths-Puffer Rockets churned out 52 points in the first half and cruised to the 80-48 victory over Fruitport.

In all, the Rockets made 10 shots from beyond the 3-point line.

Jordan Cooley led Reeths-Puffer (5-3) with 19 points. Deandre Oakes-Owens added 15 points and five assists, Jalen Cooley  had 13 points and Joey Olsen added 11 points and eight rebounds.

Grant 55, Newaygo 54 – Ryan Arends made a reverse layup in the final seconds and gave the Tigers a narrow victory over the Lions. Mason Powell led Grant with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Riley Patterson chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Arends finished with nine points. Sean Kamp led Newaygo with 18 points and Ben Wolford had 15.

Cadillac 48  Ludington 42 – A slow first quarter and a slow fourth quarter cost Ludington in a loss to Cadillac. The Orioles were led by Cameron Bandstra with 17 points and Zac Schoon with 10 points. The Orioles fall to 3-5.

Holland Christian 59 Western Michigan Christian 53 – Western Michigan Christian was unable to overcome a slow start against the host Maroons. The Warriors opened up shooting 2-14 in the first quarter and found themselves down 12-4 after the first quarter. However, the Warriors fought to get within two points late in the game. The Warriors were led by Nate Dugener with 16 points and Logan Waller with 13 points. The Warriors fall to 6-3.

Orchard View 66, Hesperia 49 – The Cardinals used a balanced scoring attack to race to a victory over Hesperia. Will Burrell led the way for OV with 21 points, followed by Matias Keyes with 16 and Dev’ron Williams with 13. Hesperia was led by Adrian Castillo with 15 points, followed by Traxton Gordon with 14 and Joe Allen with 10.

Cedar Springs 60, Kent City 39 – Kent City struggled to get anything going in the second quarter which helped Cedar Spring pull away Tuesday night. In total the Eagles were outscored 17-5 in the quarter. Randy Thompson had 10 points to lead the Eagles on the night, while Nick Alt scored eight points. The Eagles fall to 5-4.

Muskegon Catholic 56, Pentwater 21 – The host Crusaders pulled away with a 24-4 scoring advantage in the second quarter to take a 38-13 lead into the half. Erik VanFossen led MCC with 19 points and eight rebounds. Christian Martinez added 14 points and five assists. Joe Mugard and Jared Visger scored six points each for Pentwater.

Fruitport Calvary Christian 45, Wyoming West Michigan Lutheran 44 – Fruitport Calvary grabbed a nine-point halftime lead then hung on for dear life in the final seconds. Brendan Hamilton led the Eagles with 23 points followed by Will Dukes with 12. C.J. Blanchard led Lutheran with 19 points.
