The Reeths-Puffer boys basketball team overcame a five-point halftime on Friday night and snuck by Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills 49-44 in O-K Black Conference action.
The Rocket defense was stellar in the second half, allowing only 16 points.
Jordan Cooley led the Rockets with 13 points, which included two clutch free throws to help close out the victory.
DeAndre Oakes-Owens added 12 points, six rebounds, six assists, and six steals for the Rockets, who are now 4-3 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.
