The Mona Shores Sailors needed overtime on Tuesday night to slip by the Fremont Packers 55-47 in a nonleague boys basketball game.

The Sailors outscored the Packers 9-1 in the extra four-minute session to capture the victory.

Tyler Trovinger led Shores with 20 points, but he wasn’t the only standout. Kobe Burse added 19 points and 16 rebounds and Darece Roberson had 15 rebounds.

The game was tied 46-all after regulation.

Grandville 52, Reeths-Puffer 37 – The Rockets shot just 30 percent from the floor in the non-league loss. Jordan Cooley led Reeths-Puffer with 15 points.

Holland 67, Grand Haven 60 – Grand Haven (6-10) was outscored 17-10 in the second quarter and failed to recover. Drew Hewitt led Grand Haven with 19 points.

North Muskegon 55, Whitehall 53 – North Muskegon (11-5, 8-3) missed free throws down the stretch, but was able to grab the offensive rebounds and hold on for victory. The Norsemen were led by Riley Fairfield with 15 points. Whitehall (9-6, 7-5) was led by Keenan Aaylor with 15 points.

Mason County Central 60, Montague 43 – The Spartans jumped out to a 16-7 lead after the first quarter and 48-34 lead after the third quarter.  Nate Strejcek led the Spartans with 11 points and six rebounds while Sean Kelley had 10 points.  Jacob Buchberger led the Wildcats with 15 points.
