Grand Haven hangs on to nip West Ottawa in boys basketball

The Grand Haven boys’ basketball team came from behind to defeat Holland West Ottawa on Tuesday night in an O-K Red Conference showdown.

When the final buzzer sounded, Grand Haven earned a 53-51 victory over West Ottawa.

The Buccaneers entered the fourth quarter trailing 42-34 but closed out the game with a 19-9 fourth quarter run to seal the victory.

Tyler Wiedeman led the Bucs with 12 points while Drew Hewitt added nine points in the comeback win.
